A wonderful visit yesterday afternoon with Arlin and Juanita Hobbs.
We are nearing completion of Episode 1 of the series. The process has
been extraordinary. After filming, enjoyed a visit with my parents,
Kenneth and Jane Coulter. Dad told a great story tonight from the old
days when his brother Benny won a contest at Bloomfield High School
with a quail my Grandfather raised from an egg he found on the Bodine
farm. They named the quail "Tiny" and he'd sit on the pointer-finger of
my uncle Benny and call "Bobwhite." Apparently this fascinated the judges and Tiny won Benny the contest.
