18 July 1915 → The Lexington weather office moved from State College on South Limestone Street to Rooms 1408 and 1410 of Fayette National Bank at Main and Upper streets.

18 July 1944 → The Lexington weather office moved from 41 Montelle Park to the Administration Building at Blue Grass Field.

18 July 1971 → An F2 tornado was seen in Henry County. It destroyed three barns and a silo in the Pleasureville-Defoe area along the Shelby County line and US 421.

18 July 1988 → An F1 tornado struck Meade County.
